As one of the main characteristics of Enviu is transparency and openness, we will provide you with a financial overview of our organisation on request. We are an organisation that is still evolving rapidly and seeking the best ways to operate. Enviu aims for a 'non-loss' strategy: we focus primarily on maximizing the impact of our start-ups and projects, instead of maximizing profits, while letting the project generate it's own income as much as possible.

History
The initial investment to kick-off Enviu was made by the founder. During the first two years, Enviu was financed by its founder and a handful of believers.

Certification and Accountability
Enviu received the official status of charity on 30 September 2004. The status has been given by the tax department of the Dutch government and is an acknowledgement that Enviu is working as a legal and professional Environmental Non-Governmental Organisation.
